The Inter House Athletic Meet was held on 7th of July 2017. After two days of heats, it was time for the finals. The Meet began with the Four Houses Marching in the oval smartly attired in house colours to the beat of the School Band. Mr. Netaji, Principal Breeks A.I. H. Sec School, Ooty took the Salute as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Thelma. After the Flag hoisting and the Torch relay, the events began. 100 mts , 200 mts finals and 4X100 mts relay.
Std 1,2 and 3 had their class events. There was a colourful drill display of hoops by Std 6,7,& 8. Groves bagged the Shield for the March-past. After surges of excitement and fluctuating fortunes of house points., Groves emerged Winners followed closely by David, Stanes and Fritchley. The parents had their event, medals for the staff relay held a day earlier were awarded to Stanes house.
Individual Championships and Winners were seen proudly standing on the Victory Stand with Medals and Certificates. The National Anthem brought the event to a close.
