To commemorate the 111st birth anniversary of the pioneer of education in Tamil Nadu, the late Kamaraj. A elocution contest was held for the schools in Nilgiris by the Nadar Sangham at the St. John’s Parish Hall on the 21st of July. About 30 schools sent their best speakers. The topic being “ Kamaraj’s role in the field of education”.

Soundariya of 11B spoke confidently and convincingly to be placed Second. She won a cash prize of Rs. 2,000/- a shield and a certificate.
